Kat Kinsman, editor of Eatocracy, reports on the various competitive eating styles and training methods used by professional competitive eaters. Kat explains how some stereotypes of competitive eating was that in order to be good at competitive eating, you had to be overweight. Now a days you see thinner and thinner contestants, females as well as males, participating in this sport. For example, some methods in the video were HDB, Solomon Method, Roman method, etc. I even expand on what these methods really are in my webtext and how they are implemented into a competitive eater's training regimen. These are just a few of the numerous amounts of training methods out there in the competitive eating world. On average, training for a competition varies depending on the method. Kinsman states that eaters would starve themselves for days to prepare for a competition, or even just go on a strict liquid diet to increase the expansion of their stomachs.
